In 1986, Nick and Grace Nicholaou answered God’s call and stepped out in faith to start MBS. Leaving behind promising careers, they entered full-time ministry through a mission that would go on to benefit churches and ministries around the world. For 40 years, MBS has been privileged to provide ministry-focused technology support and services to those serving the Kingdom.
What they founded remains unique today. Because MBS serves only churches and ministries, everything we do is centered on ministry. We are not a department within a larger company focused primarily on corporate clients. Our singular focus has always been helping ministries use technology effectively to advance their mission.
After four decades, that ministry-first model continues to set MBS apart.
- We bill for time, not devices.
Technology should support ministry, not compete with it for resources. Most IT providers charge a monthly fee for every device they manage. At MBS, we bill for the time we spend helping you, not for the number of devices you own. We monitor your systems and are ready when you need us, but you only pay when we are actively serving you. The result is simple: lower IT costs and more resources available for the work God has called your ministry to do. - Our engineers answer the phone.
We don’t use call centers or third-party answering services. Whenever you call MBS, you’re speaking directly to someone who understands technology and can help. Recently, I heard about a church that had to explain what a VPN was to the person answering their weekend support call before they could even begin troubleshooting. At MBS, you don’t have to spend time spelling out V-P-N before reaching someone who can solve your problem. - Weekend support doesn’t cost extra.
We understand that ministry doesn’t happen only Monday through Friday. For many churches, the weekend is when the most important ministry takes place. Whether you need assistance on a Tuesday afternoon or a Sunday morning, our rates remain the same. - We don’t lock you into long-term contracts.
We want to earn your trust through service, not through contractual obligations. All our services are offered month-to-month or quarter-to-quarter. If we ever fail to meet your needs, we’ll gladly help you transition to a provider better suited to support your ministry. Our goal is to serve Christ by serving you well. - We haven’t raised our rates since 2020.
While many providers have increased prices in response to rising costs, we’ve worked hard to improve efficiency and keep our pricing stable. We believe stewardship matters, and we are committed to helping ministries maximize every dollar entrusted to them.
As we celebrate 40 years of ministry, we are humbled by God’s faithfulness and grateful for the opportunity to serve churches and ministries across the country and around the world.
It is our hope and prayer that MBS will continue serving those who serve the King for another 40 years and beyond. God has richly blessed this ministry and the model upon which it was founded, and we remain committed to using technology to strengthen the work of the church.
Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in ministry. It is truly an honor and privilege.
