There are generally two ways to approach computer system and network design:

  • You can start by buying hardware and software and then try to configure it to do all that’s needed, or
  • You can start with learning what’s needed and then buy the hardware and software that best meets those needs and configure it to do so.

The cost and results can be dramatically different.

At MBS, we began by learning what our clients– all of whom are Christian churches and ministries– need and want. We learned what kinds of tools they need, and we learned that they need to run without interruption from system crashes. And they need all that for as little as possible because efficient use of funds is essential and must be prioritized.

With this in mind, we developed a network spec that delivers power, stability, and reliability while minimizing cost. It is scalable and modular in design and uses the most current proven solutions available. As a result, our networks need nearly no support– they really are known for never going down! When we visit clients every few years for a system upgrade we often find that their network has been running without interruption since our last visit!

Most networks cost a lot to support, but not ours. We meet many ministries who pay other network engineering firms to be on-site weekly– or even daily! That costs a lot! MBS clients rarely see us between major upgrades, which means our clients save a lot of money. And they don’t need someone high-powered on staff to keep their systems running! MBS networks are just very solid.

We have installed, fixed, cleaned up, and consulted on more church and ministry networks than anyone! Our recommended solutions are tested in our lab before implemented in your office. Our networks increase reliability and nearly eliminate system administration!

We have close relationships and experience with the leading hardware and software vendors, and with most church and ministry management database providers. And because we neither sell nor distribute hardware or software, our recommendations are an objective good fit.
